AMV is currently in search for a Campus Information and Communications Manager. The Communications Manager reports to the Executive Director and embraces the vision, the mission and the values of the Asbury Communities and will help lead a team in maintaining and growing a culture of timely and transparent communication, as well as an engaging lifestyle for residents and a great place to work for Associates. The Communications Manager works collaboratively with numerous resident-led advisory groups, departmental directors, the system communication department, and is supported by a small team of specialized associates.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and implements the community’s social media strategy, including marketing plans that leverage social media outlets.
  • Develops and maintains online content that attracts attention, generates interest, and is easily shared with social networks.
  • Plans, develops and implements internal and external community communications through email, phone, newsletters, flyers, press releases, Associate App and the TailoredMail system
  • Strategic management of the AMV Television Station, AVTV.
  • Strategic management of the Resident Newspaper (Village Life).
  • Strategic management and upkeep of the AMV Connected Living program.
  • Coordinates promotion of resident and associate activities and community events.
  • Will manage the community volunteer program including enrollment and placement.
  • Works with community leadership and departments on internal communication needs and strategies.

Other duties

  • Exceptional organizational, customer service, and interpersonal communication skills with the flexibility to thrive in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Results focused with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Kronos Workforce Management Solutions.
  • General administrative duties are required.
