Along with an ambitious virtual showcase of world cinema, the Vancouver International Film Festival is committed to offering a complete online film festival experience and will feature pre-recorded film introductions, panel discussions and interviews. Reporting to the Lead Festival Technician, and working closely with the Program Logistic Manager, the Digital Video Production Technician will work on the development and operation of the technical preparation and execution of the festival’s pre-recorded and live content.
Required Performance Competencies:
The Digital Production Technician is responsible for the recording of live streaming audio-visual content via digital platforms and managing digital video data. Content includes but is not exclusive to live and pre-recorded video interviews, panel discussions and introductions, both with in-person and remote guests. Following the schedule created by the Program Logistic Manager, they will operate the technical setup and quality standards developed by the Lead Festival Technician.
