SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful team player with exceptional video and multimedia production skills, with an interest in building social media content to join our team as Video Coordinator and Communications Assistant. This position will play a key role in the Brand Experience Team for both Saint Elizabeth and our consumer brand, Elizz, by creating dynamic content for web and social media. Video and multimedia content will be created in alignment with our business strategy, digital strategy and content strategy, and will be used to share information and promote our brand and key messages to staff, current clients, potential clients and the community generally. This position will report to the Director of Communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acts as in-house videographer for internal video projects and external video content

  • Consults with other departments, helping them to better understand video and multimedia

  • Create social media content relevant to our social media channels

  • Work closely with the Internal Communications team on a daily basis

  • Advises on turning written content into quality video content – includes developing the concept, script writing, storyboarding and production of the video content, or working with other members of the brand experience team to outsource to external production companies where required.

  • Participate in communications meeting providing unique corporate communications insight through a video lens

REQUIREMENTS

  • One to three years video production experience in a similar role

  • Degree or diploma in New Media, video production, multimedia production or similar

  • Previous work experience in a Corporate environment is preferred

  • Interest in and awareness of current and emerging trends in video, digital media and social media

  • Strong video production/cinematography skills

  • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills

  • Ability to work against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work on multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Ability in Adobe Creative products

  • Design knowledge/ability

  • Must have vehicle and valid drivers license in order to travel ( travel would be 40% locally and 20% overnight travel)
