The CMF is looking for a leader or co-leaders to help it deliver on its short-term actions to combat systemic racism and provide emergency COVID-19 support to under-represented communities in the screen industry.
The CMF will consider hiring one person or two people to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. The position is therefore available part-time or full-time, for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension.
In accordance with the CMF’s commitment to combatting racism and systemic discrimination, from all qualified applicants, preference will be given to individuals with firsthand experience with such issues, such as members of the following groups: Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit or Métis), or Persons of Colour, which includes persons who are Asian, Black, and Latinx. The successful candidate(s) will work with the CMF’s strategy and programs teams to coordinate consultations and deliver emergency COVID-19 relief funding allocated to under-represented communities: specifically, Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, Women, LGBTQ2+.
