BrainVision is looking for a Graphic Design and Creative Content Intern to join their team in Markham. BrainVision is a market research and intelligence company catered to small businesses in retail. We provide a free platform for businesses to self promote their own deals and promotions. We also specialize in digital campaigns, content creation, social media marketing, and brand strategy. At Brainvision, we invest our time in innovation and experimentation. We work with a limited number of clients to ensure a focused approach and the best results for success. Are you someone who thinks unconventionally and has an eye for creative visual content? Do you have a deep passion for social media and all things creative? As our Winter 2020 intern, you will have the opportunity to obtain hands-on experience applying your academic knowledge in an intimate entrepreneurial environment. You will be responsible for assisting the team in the development and implementation of client digital campaigns and brand strategy. This will include skills related to creative writing, graphic design, and strategic planning. Primary Responsibilities. Research and analyze social media platformsAssist with management of client social media platforms. Assist Creative Director in writing, editing and publishing content. Curate digital content for websites and social media platforms. Support the Executive Director in identifying and cultivating new content partnerships. Assist with optimizing content for search enginesAssist in the production of multimedia features (videos and photo galleries). Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including e-blasts, promotions, social media, look book shoots, film production, and more. Qualifications. Must be in post-secondary education and this internship must be applied for school credit (**please do not apply if you are not qualified). Highly creative with a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Strong proficiency in Mac environment, MS Office Suite, social media platforms. Familiar with emerging digital media trends. Video editing skills, familiarity and digital asset management systems and a working knowledge of website posting and updating is an asset. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Analytical with good written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong interest in small bueiness and retail sectors.
Job Type: Internship with monthly stipend to cover food and transportation. This internship period will be from January 2020 – May 2020.
