As a Media Planner at Nymbus, you will be supporting the growth of our business and the growth of all our clients’ businesses too.

With 3-5 years experience in a fast moving, multi client agency environment, you are looking for an opportunity to get more involved in strategic planning, building deeper client relationships and to helping a portfolio of clients be successful. You are equally focused on the outcomes of your work together with the creativity of the plans you develop.

You will be supporting our clients to make decisions about how their acquisition strategy should unfold then orchestrating the creation, optimizing, management and performance measurement of multi-channel ad campaigns.

Experience of, and; an interest in, working with financial services brands is highly desirable. You will be supporting the growing portfolio of highly innovative fintechs, banks and credit unions that are using Nymbus technology to rapidly create, launch and grow a set of unique digital only banking offerings.

While you will predominantly be utilizing digital channels, your remit will also extend into television, radio, billboards, print, and direct mail. A passion and deep knowledge of all things digital is critical but experience and knowledge of the broader media environment matters too.


  • Analyzing data, thinking creatively and designing innovative strategies to make sure client marketing campaigns reach their target audience in the most effective way possible
  • Assessing the impact and suitability of different media types used to target certain markets based on clients’ needs and wants
  • Creating data driven and cost effective media plans to attract and retain customers, increase our client’s brand recognition, and maintain and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Setting and confidently communicating budget requirements to meet client’s campaign goals
  • Analyzing campaign results throughout live campaigns to continually optimize ROI
  • Make post-campaign recommendations to ensure continued performance improvement in future campaigns
  • Interacting and negotiating with external partners to evaluate, implement, and maintain a cost effective media buying approach
  • Perform all other related duties as required or assigned.


  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years in an agency environment actively involved in media planning
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of the financial services sector
  • Bachelor degree in related field e.g. business, marketing, market science, media studies
  • Experience and working knowledge of campaign management and ad serving technology e.g.: DoubleClick, Innovid, Prisma, Google Analytics
  • Preferred working knowledge of third party Internet marketing research: comScore Media Metrix, Nielsen NetView, @Plan, NetRatings, and others
  • Knowledge and experience of social media advertising technologies and target profiling
  • Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Google Suite
  • Experience analyzing data and market research
  • Familiarity with basic accounting/budget management principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus
  • Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.


  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written, verbal communication.
  • Strong negotiation skills, ideally with established media buying relationships.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with colleagues and vendors. Definitely a team player


This job is a remote, home working role but you may be required at times to visit clients sites or attend meetings in central office locations.
