We are looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team. You will have technical and creative freedom to identify and pursue the solution you feel will work best given the requirements of the project. How do you know if this role is right for you? You have an inhuman skill at finding the balance between lovely designed UI and a sublime level of usability. You can go from a blank doc in PhotoShop to a shipping moment of user astonishment on the web.
Design and develop the UI for our platform in React and WebGL
Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
Work collaboratively with other engineers and product managers to bring new features and services into production.
Integrate the front end with analytics to improve user experience and help understand user behavior
You have an overriding desire to create beautiful tools for a professional audience.
Bonus point if you’ve worked with Shaka player previously.
You have knowledge of web media, specifically WebGL, ideally including experience with streamable video.
You have the ability to debug from the frontend to the backend.
You are able to clearly evangelise and explain your design decisions verbally and in writing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, and life experiences that demonstrate excellence in the domains you have chosen to master.
Candidates must have permission to live/work in the USA, be based in Seattle, Washington and available to work in our Fremont office.
