ISM Connect is creating a new category that cuts across technology and media to offer digital at-venue brand experiences that redefine how consumers experience live events. ISM is working with highly visible, exciting partners such as Minor League Baseball, NASCAR, and others. We are creating the first fully-integrated, end-to-end network of smart engagement technology. Through a network of digital screens at sports and entertainment venues, retail locations and urban centers, we speak directly to over 100 million consumers through a wide array of custom programming and advertising.

We are looking for an experienced and well-organized Video Producer to provide the necessary support in the creation og high-impact video content. This role is a jack of all trades- part producer, part director, part sound/camera person and part editor. You should be comfortable working on projects ranging from quick-cutting, graphics-driven, short and mid-form episodic to socially-focus videos. This role requires the ability to translate concepts into evocative and compelling storytelling that’s also on brand through aesthetic acuity and technical knowledge of shooting, lighting, sound (including equipment) and editing. The selected candidate for this role will be creative, energetic and a self-starter that is inspired by the opportunity to create stories, marketing tools, internal company announcement videos, external promotional social videos, and product marketing videos.

What You Will do:

  • Provide video production support for a range of multimedia requests by shooting and editing digital video
  • Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects
  • Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
  • Record and edit video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voice-over/sound effects, media management and archiving project media
  • Set up on-location video productions including proper lighting and sound design
  • Develop production schedules, including scope and budgets (work with internal traffic coordinator to coordinate)
  • Select and hire additional crew and talent as needed during surge periods, direct and coach talent; make transportation arrangements for crew, talent and equipment; and ensure all location power needs are met
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorm creative approaches for clients
  • Participate in stakeholder discussions about format, delivery specifications and technical problem-solving
  • Provide post-production knowledge of exporting, transcoding, converting and archiving footage
  • Maintain a high attention to detail with a sensitivity to messaging and branding
  • Help manage publishing process to ensure video content is optimized across multiple platforms
  • Bring creativity, problem solving and great communication skills to manage multiple projects
  • Work independently, as well as part of a team, to establish project deliverables
  • Reserve and rent equipment as needed
  • Manage video library and assets
  • Evaluate video analytics from social media and other sources
  • Other video and event support tasks as needed

Who You Are:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience within an in-house, commercial studio or broadcast environment
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Production, TV & Film, Communications, Advertising/Marketing, or similar field
  • Skills: Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) required, the ability to develop and implement creative treatments, schedules and budgets of various scopes and sizes
  • Drive: Self-starter who follows through on tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously, uncompromising attention to detail, strong organizational and time‐management skills
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Learning orientation: Always willing to learn something new, not rigid in beliefs or expectations
  • Sense of humor: Because we all need to laugh sometimes
  • Collaborative: Must have a high level of flexibility and adaptability with strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude
  • Flexible: Some US travel required, approximately 15% and varies based on workload, evening/weekend work as needed

What You Will Need:

  • An online portfolio of great work
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC
  • Experience using DSLR cameras with interchangeable lenses, transcoding codecs, shooting and lighting
  • A keen eye for motion graphic design and a strong visual sensibility
  • Experience in animation, 3D graphics a plus
