Intern Summary: The Philadelphia Film Festival (PFF) is an 11-day international film festival that screens over 100 films and hosts special events, Q&As, and industry guests.

The Ticketing & Credentials Intern will assist the Ticketing Manager and Venue Operations Assistant in all aspects of PFF28 ticketing, Box Office Operations, and credentialing, with an emphasis on ensuring the accurate organization of information, courteous communications with customers, and streamlined on-site Box Office operations. A successful intern in this position will gain hands on experience in the organization and execution of a large festival, learning new skills in event planning, hospitality, and management of a leading CRM platform.



  • Become proficient in Patron Manager Ticketing System / CRM
  • Become familiar with standard PFS and PFF ticketing/event setup
  • Assist in coordinating with Guest Services, Membership, and Sponsorship teams to keep complete and accurate records of all festival credentials, including badges and comp tickets
  • Assist with the production, organization, and distribution of festival badges
  • Assist in maintaining film/event information documents with an eye for completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with copy editing and proofing all film and event listings
  • Assist in pre-Festival Box Office sales as needed
  • Other duties as needed


  • Support festival Box Officers as needed
  • Aid with collection and recording of daily attendance data from venue staff
  • Assist with daily reporting and sales communications
  • Assist Venue Managers as needed, with emphasis on ticket scanning and tracking attendance
  • Attend Festival Meetings and remain updated on Festival updates


  • Assist Ticketing Manager with all final ticketing reports and assessments

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Great communication skills; comfortable talking to new people
  • Attention to detail a must
  • Previous knowledge of Patron Manager and/or Salesforce a plus
  • Ability to multi-task, follow instructions and work independently
  • Proficient in bothGoogle Docs and Microsoft Office suites;must be comfortable working inspreadsheets

Time Requirements

  • August-December, 2019
  • Full or significantly open availability October 17-27, 2019
  • August-Mid-October: 2-3 days per week in office, 11am-5pm

Compensation: Unpaid, College Credit Available
