We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a role as a lead videographer. As a member of our team in this role, we expect the following:

– Ability to manage multiple priorities
– Ability and desire to take initiative
– Desire to have the freedom to take charge of both in-office assignments and on-location production
– Desire for a fast-paced work environment

This challenging but rewarding role is a combination of client facing work and in-office work. It will require a certain level of independence and affords the opportunity to see your efforts come to life.

Qualifications:

– Minimum of a Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Video Production/Film preferred
– Thorough knowledge of the operation and care of video cameras & equipment
– Proficiency in lighting for video
– Proficiency of audio recording
– Ability to pack and transport video cameras, tripods, lighting, microphones, and other equipment to necessary locations. Applicants must have their own vehicle and be able to lift and transport equipment to/from shooting locations.
– Experience using a variety of camera bodies (i.e. Canon C series, DSLR, and the like)
– Experience making creative and technical decisions regarding elements such as appropriate lighting and shooting angles.
– Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) in a friendly and professional manner
– Comfortable conducting interviews and capturing b-roll footage
– Willingness to learn how to operate new equipment as needed/required
– Willingness to working closely with director/producer and feel comfortable/confident in their ability to execute on her vision
– Comfortable following a consistent work schedule while still being flexible with multiple assignments in one day
– Other duties as assigned to assist and support the team

The following skill sets are not required but would be a bonus:

– Proficiency in video editing using Adobe PremierePro

– Basic photography skills
– Specific skill sets in lighting, audio, and/or color grading
– Proficiency in Adobe AfterEffects and the entire Adobe Creative Suite

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $30.00 /hour

Experience:

  • event videography: 1 year (Preferred)
  • videography: 3 years (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Required travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
