Responsibilities:

  • Record important events using camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Direct people to capture specific action and events for the camera.
  • Direct people to capture specific action and events for the camera.
  • Manage multiple video projects and deliver against deadlines
  • Work as a shooter with various cameras from DSLR to Pro
  • Work with internal requesters to understand their video needs and execute
  • Operate, maintain and set-up all photography, video, audio and lighting equipment
  • Pack and transport equipment including cameras, tripods, lighting, audio and other associated equipment to all sites and necessary locations
  • Basic editing of photography and video files
  • Manage media by importing and backing up all media files; add metadata and description for media assets and upload to internal asset management system
  • Export, compress and upload videos and photographs to internal and external internet sites; provide guidance on best practices for encoding and bit rate for various hosting platforms
  • Recommend best practices and creative ideas to meet project needs

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in video production, editing, and motion design
  • A creative and visual thinker with a strong visual eye and a knack for creating and curating conversational, shareable content
  • Ability to bring a project through to completion (including basic color correction and audio mix, as needed).
  • Robust and thorough understanding of the principles of videography, the production process, motion graphics design, and video editing and techniques
  • Experience with export and compression best practices for digital and social media
  • Experience with audio recording and editing
  • Associate degree or in photography, videography or related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro
  • Strong portfolio of photography and demo reel for videography
  • Attention to detail
  • Adaptable and flexible to project changes
  • Time management
  • Ability to take direction
