About the Team:
RYOT Studio is the award winning branded content studio of Verizon Media . Fueled by rich customer data, scaled distribution, premium publishing and award-winning creative expertise, RYOT Studio matches brands and their agency partners with relevant publisher voices and desired audiences. We are committed to crafting custom content that offers a fresh perspective on the human experience, using the latest, groundbreaking technologies to distribute content across diverse mediums and platforms.
RYOT Studio is looking for an experienced Commercial Editor to work with our team to concept, design and execute innovative multi-platform branded content experiences that live on Verizon Media’s properties and social media platforms.
Inspire our advertising partners to leverage custom content experiences that resonate with our publisher’s audiences.
Concept branded video, written, infographic, immersive, multimedia content and event activations.
Combine cultural awareness with proprietary data insights to create concepts that resonate with our audiences on behalf of brands.
Embed into our publishers to create commercial content in line with their editorial voice and priorities
Collaborate with producers and directors to guide executions through production and delivery.
Work in a consultative manner with our sales and strategy teams to surface great content that our clients will love
Take a heavy hand in production, whether it’s writing long form articles, infographics, multimedia experiences, explainer scripts, or digital ads.
Be a thought leader on storytelling for brands through digital media
5+ years experience working with a branded content studio, advertising agency or editorial publishing company.
Storytelling and communications experience
Experience working with sales and strategy teams to provide support for RFP responses, as well as proactive projects
Highly skilled with social media activations.
A self-starter mentality with an ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
Problem solver who approaches challenges with solutions.
Excellent organizational and communications skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
A sense of humor and thick skin.
Ability to learn and self train as technology evolves.
Ability to move from concept to content development regularly exceeding program goals.

Digital portfolio website
Experience in After Effects, Cinema 4D or any motion graphics, modeling or animation programs
Basic HTML/CSS front end development skills
