Coordinator/ Assistant position available with Independent Musician Management Company.

This Manhattan NY based company, specializing in the development and promotion of music related careers and brands, is looking for a dedicated self starting Coordinator/ Assistant who is available for full time employment including occasional evenings and weekends – to be involved in all aspects of management including, scheduling, invoicing, marketing, social media, royalty collection, promoting and building the careers of musicians and brands, record producers, film composers, as well as to work on live event productions on a local, national and international level. Additional duties will include office management and overseeing interns. All applicants must have prior music business experience. Experience at a record label, booking agency or Music Management Company is a plus. Salary to be determined per experience.
Job Requirements: Prior music industry experience. Prior experience as an administrative assistant or project coordinator. Strong communication skills. A positive personality and a willingness to learn. An understanding of artist management, Invoicing/ Billing, Scheduling, Filing and organizational skills. Computer skills should include: Google Calendar, G-Mail, Google Documents, Dropbox, Squarespace, Soundcloud, Excel, Word and Photoshop, mass email products (i.e. Mailchimp). Familiarity with ASCAP/ BMI royalties, Soundexchange, and Spotify are a plus.
