Who we are looking for… world-class Writers with a relentless passion for uncovering “the big idea,” and who have a mastery of writing, storytelling, digital and social ideation. The ideal candidate, will be well-versed in current trends, has a keen understanding of omni-channel creative, and a proven track record of delivering award-winning creative campaigns.

Responsibilities :

  • Create compelling insight-based concepts/content/copy for Disney Parks, Experiences & Consumer Products that are PR worthy and Digital-First in nature.
  • Oversee voice over/music/mix sessions.
  • Direct and collaborate with UX, Developers, Social Strategist, photographers, designers, cinematographers and directors.

Basic Qualifications :

  • You know how to create big ideas and have a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with others to get those ideas produced.
  • You’re an extremely Conceptual writer who can has versatile Tone and Voice.
  • You have a great portfolio filled with smart, innovative, award-winning (Cannes, One Show, D&AD) work that includes Interactive, Experiential and social media Concepts.
  • You’re exceptionally strong in the digital/social space.
  • You’re a strong strategic thinker and know how to turn deep consumer insights into great concepts/content.
  • You’re an excellent presenter.
  • You live and breathe the latest digital technologies. You are passionate about great design, typography, photography, cinematography and music.
  • You work well in a fast-paced environment and can successfully handle multiple projects at once

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confidence and enthusiasm when sharing ideas internally.
  • Willingness to “raise your hand” and contribute proactively
  • Ability to take and synthesize critique
  • Fast-learner with a thirst for fully understanding the marketing function of WDPR
  • Time management skills A MUST. Ability to handle multiple assignments, self-manage and meet deadlines.
  • Must possess exceptional writing and grammatical skills.
  • Must be proficient in presentation software and have working knowledge of PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides.
  • Strong ear for music is a bonus.
  • Type A-level attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and genuine interest in the Walt Disney Company history– including films, animation, television and theme parks.

Required Education :

  • You have 7+ years of major ad agency experience
  • An ad school or liberal arts (4 year) degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of an associates (2 year) degree in advertising, art, graphic art or design.
