Location: Universal City, CA
The Promotions Coordinator will provide support to the Promotions and Marketing department with a focus on social media for Telemundo52. This position will report to the VP Marketing & Programming.
Schedule Daily Promo Logs and send to Traffic
Check Daily Promo Log after Traffic fills
Create daily house numbers
Purge Promo Spots Weekly
Check & print out Programming Grids daily; inform appropriate people of programming
Sweeps Topicals/Special Promos
Coordinating & Communicating with Traffic Department all the time
Provide network promos for sales initiatives when needed
Ingest any daily promos when necessary.
Check Missing Materials List every morning.
Record promo feeds daily
Produce & Update Sizzle Reels for ground Events.
Maintain Promo Generic Lists for the dept. (Update often)
Maintain the Promo HOT list for Encompass (Update at least monthly)
Ensure that promo/sales contract spots are fulfilled.
Provide Log Summary Reports of sales sponsored spots/PSAs/promos.
Provide promos or full screens to show producers in order to promote local and network
Email Blasts: Initiate/Coordinate artwork creation, publish online with IB Publish, update HTML basic script to add new links/photos/Description titles to each project, finally upload to Stream Send and schedule distribution using existing database.
GOAL: to promote every contest/sweepstakes, event, community affair, Series Launch, etc.
Facebook Promotion: promote contest/sweepstakes, events, community affair etc.
Manages Promotions sections in Telemundo 52 website
Works with local and network digital teams to preserve online media safety and best practices
Coordinates the production of POPs during sweepstakes
Acts as legal liaison during sweepstakes and sales initiatives
Manages the giveaway phone lines and sweepstakes website registrations
Assists in the planning and coordination of Telemundo 52 signature events
On-site coordinator during events and assisting attending talent
Assists in public relations tasks for the station and with Network, and acts as the Public Relations contact for Network Talent
Supports the station in Corporate initiatives
Coordinates the creation of reports for Corporate and Network
Attends to administrative duties such as managing/maintaining department files, photocopying, faxing, shipping and ordering supplies, scheduling team meetings, processing invoices
Additional duties as assigned
Minimum 1-year experience in a TV or production environment, with a focus on social media
Proficient in all Social Media platforms

Must be willing to travel and have a flexible schedule with ability to work overtime and on weekends with short notice
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be bilingual English/Spanish with the ability to speak, read and write in both languages.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and the flexibility to assist where needed
Team player, excellent communication skills, results oriented, positive attitude
Superb problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions/judgments
Television or entertainment industry experience preferred
Comfortable working in and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
