DTCI Design is the unified design org for all customer facing experiences and supporting tools in the Direct-to-Consumer & International Technology org. The Design Manager will lead the design and UX of apps and websites for a specific product area, either vertically or horizontally focused.
The Design Manager will be responsible for building, managing and mentoring a team of Designers. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with Design team members directing rapid visual concepts, producing high fidelity visual design, coordinating requirements with stakeholders and partners, and presenting work product to executives and sponsors. Team fit is as important as design skills.
The ideal candidate for the Design Manager role is highly creative, engaging, able to work with all types of people, and deeply knowledgeable about the latest design trends and technologies. They can ship ground breaking V1 products and iterate on existing experiences. They are an expert in user interfaces, visual design, and motion design and has an amazing portfolio of work from web to mobile to TV interfaces.
