Jr. Technician

Where:

SHOTOVER United States Service Center, Van Nuys, CA

Job Overview:

The Jr. Technician role will be an integral part of the SHOTOVER team, helping to organize the chaos and along the way become a SHOTOVER Service and Support Technician to help with our growing customer base. This position will be responsible for keeping the shop clean, stocked, and organized, as well as assisting in the maintenance, repairs, and building of our SHOTOVER systems. There is tremendous potential for growth in the Jr Technician role with the opportunity to become a proper SHOTOVER Technician.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Keep the SHOTOVER US Service Center clean and organized
  • Responsible for keeping a precise inventory of SHOTOVER parts and accessories to ensure items are stocked for in-house repairs and for online store
  • Ship items both domestic and international via DHL and FedEx when necessary
  • Assist SHOTOVER Technicians in a variety of technical tasks
  • Be knowledgeable about SHOTOVER systems and maintenance procedures
  • Carry out customer gimbal maintenance and training classes
  • Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • College degree or technical degree preferred
  • 2 years experience in some technical field
  • Windows and OS
  • Soldering skills a plus
  • Tool knowledge a plus
  • Hard working and responsible
  • Drivers License and clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift more then 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year

  • Technical Support: 1 year (Preferred)
