Summary:
The role and primary responsibility of the Strategic Alliances Coordinator is to support the Strategic Alliance department in the organization, tracking, scheduling, and delivery of select technology-driven requests originating from DreamWorks Animation and DreamWorks’ technology partners. In addition, the Strategic Alliances Coordinator will provide logistical and administrative support in service of department operations, as well as communicate the history, culture, franchise properties, industry innovations and corporate strategy of DreamWorks Animation to local and global audiences, customers and partners.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Strategic Alliances Managers and Supervisors to ensure consistent awareness and communication to Strategic Alliance management and DreamWorks strategic partners
  • Partnership and Studio Showcases
    • Coordinate all Technology Showcase preparation and day-of logistics, including but not limited to all scheduling, reservation of studio resources, confirming attendee lists, securing attendee NDAs and creation of executive agenda
    • Lead select studio tours that communicate the history, culture, franchise properties and innovations of DreamWorks and its affiliates when necessary
  • Organize partner screenings

    • Communicate with NBCUniversal to reserve theaters for pre-release partner screenings
    • Order giveaways and other consumer products
    • Organize volunteers, executive presence; create and organize check-in documentation
    • Create and manage screening invite list
    • Reserve all necessary onsite locations
    • Coordinate with Facilities, Security, AV and Catering teams
  • Coordinate logistics for select onsite and offsite executive events
  • Assist in the edit and review process for select Partnership communications materials
  • Research and distribute relevant industry articles as they pertain to Strategic Alliances, DreamWorks, active and prospective technology partners
  • Manage access, security and condition of Strategic Alliances’ facilities
  • Routinely sync with Strategic Alliances and Animation Technology executives, managers, supervisors, coordinators, assistants and (when applicable) temps and interns
  • Maintain and distribute all departmental calendars (executive, printed and digital)
  • Provide logistical support for corporate meetings, screenings, promotional partner activities, and on-campus receptions when necessary

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA in Communications or Marketing/Events preferred
  • Mastery of software applications including: Google Apps, FileMaker, Pro, Word, PowerPoint

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate about technologies and technology solutions
  • Strong C-Level executive level communications skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in extremely high-paced environments
  • Photoshop experience is a plus
