WBT manages the Studio’s enterprise systems and solutions, emerging platforms, information security, consumer intelligence, content mastering and delivery, and more.

Opportunity Overview

The Job

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Program Management Monetization Tech for the Enterprise Technology- IP Licensing & Dist Solutions department. This position oversees the expansive WM Enterprise Licensing/Avails Technology program, with a primary goal to manage and deliver multi-$M business critical projects for the application landscape. The role owns the corresponding program roadmap to align technology change to company strategic priorities and enable growth and efficiency targets. The role defines and optimizes the business value proposition, handles planning (financial and resource), budgeting, scheduling, large scale change management and ensures delivery of highly reliable, top-quality, first time right deployments with adoption rates that consistently fulfill the business case. Executes on deliveries to multiple business units today, with near-term expansion across the wider Warner Media footprint, and communicates directly with all Sr. Executive program stakeholders – Technology and the Business. This position also assumes oversight of the production support organizations for the COSMOS, STARS and upDoc solutions. The role partners closely with the Executive Director Licensing Solutions to advance the appropriate use of technology, maintain compliance with evolving security and privacy standards, and deliver fast-paced support upgrades – while consistently driving to a lower overall portfolio cost. In addition, the long-term expectation for this role is to create and execute a strategy to consolidate and standardize program and support management for the broad-based Warner Media TV Distribution & Physical Supply Chain technology portfolio.

The Daily

  • Manages program portfolio, including planning of new requirements while rationalizing the portfolio, and ensuring alignment to WB’s strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Oversees budget (operational and capital), resource plan, execution and deployment for the portfolio.
  • Partners with Warner Media Business and Warner Content & Enterprise Technology stakeholder to ensure highest quality technology solutions with high rates of adoption.
  • Liaises with external partners for resource and software management.
  • Coordinates program planning across various Business Units and adjacent application portfolios. Alignment of initiatives across Warner Media technology.

The Essentials

  • Graduate degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in a program management role, managing a portfolio of complex applications across multiple business functions using a variety of technologies, preferably in the entertainment industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in a program management role of implementing and operating large scale, complex applications (preferably SAP).
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of the software development life cycle (SDLC), with industry standard best practice methodologies.
  • General knowledge of SOX controls and processes.
  • Experience with business process reengineering preferred.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise level systems, preferably SAP (including HANA).
  • Deep knowledge of Program and Portfolio Management Tools.
  • Technology Portfolio Management.

  • Actual to plan comparisons.
  • Leadership and motivation of team.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
