The Traffic Coordinator demonstrates a working knowledge of basic traffic concepts, procedures, terminology, execution and follow up (e.g., traffic instructions, ISCI code, billboard material delivery, etc.)

The Traffic Coordinator follows established traffic department procedures and assists Traffic Associate, Traffic Supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generates traffic instructions and shipping materials
  • Works directly with tape duplication vendors – issues purchase orders, provides ship lists
  • Receives invoices from tape duplication vendor and matches/approves against purchase orders
  • Works with Traffic Supervisor to clear discrepancies on dub/ship vendor invoices
  • Attaches commercial codes to units loaded in traffic system when manual traffic instructions are issued
  • Maintains traffic files

  • Bachelor’s degree, no less than 1-year experience in field pertinent to broadcast advertising
  • 0-2 years traffic experience in movie/entertainment business
  • Basic knowledge of media and terminology
  • Detail-oriented
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills; communicate effectively with peers
  • Ability to produce written work that needs minimal editing, including appropriate grammar
  • Prioritize and multi-tasks a high volume of responsibilities and tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
