The Coordinator position will support the Awards and Corporate Affairs department; reporting into the network’s head of Awards and Corporate Affairs. The ideal candidate possesses superior organizational and communication skills and operates with impeccable attention to detail. The qualified candidate is able to effectively balance shifting demands with dynamic schedules, multitask in a fast-paced environment and function under pressure within deadlines. The position will be responsible for coordinating schedules and logistics for events related to the awards department, facilitating a multitude of award submissions and managing departmental records and documents. Professionalism, a positive attitude and an ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with many different personalities are required.


  • Run point on talent event logistics; including coordinating between talent representatives, SHOWTIME talent travel booker, and third-party services such as hair, makeup and styling for talent.
  • Work with Manager of Awards to facilitate award submission and entries; communicating with entrants, collecting supporting materials, completing required forms and maintaining entry grids and other internal documents.
  • Supervise the delivery of all required audio and video materials to award ceremonies, press conferences and panels; including the creation of clip reels.
  • Build and track project budgets; responsible for financial processes of check requests, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Responsible for collecting and maintaining current production documents such as credits, crew sheets, cast lists and schedules from various departments across the network.
  • Manage desk of VP, Awards and Corporate Affairs including phone log, schedule and expense reports.


  • The Coordinator reports directly to the VP, Awards & Corporate Affairs.
  • Expected to effectively communicate regular status reports and anticipate upcoming tasks based on deadlines and schedules.



  • Minimum of three years of experience in the media industry; one-year experience in an Awards specific role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to work periodically on evenings and weekends (overtime) when needed
  • Ability to balance responsibilities and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior oral and written communication skills combined with a high level of professionalism
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to anticipate and work proactively
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion


  • College degree preferred, not required
