The Associate Media Director is responsible for the collaboration with clients and offline counterparts for the development of strategy for Disney’s media plans. The Associate Media Director is also responsible for identifying and educating on emerging market trends and technologies as they relate to specific campaigns.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify client goals/objectives and lead the development of strategies and digital tactics against those KPIs for current campaigns
  • Stay current with consumer consumption habits, partner/publisher ‘first-to-market’ opportunities and emerging technologies as they relate to current campaigns
  • Educate and train staff and clients on new technologies and vendor partners
  • Build strong relationships with senior-level client counterparts
  • Manage team of Supervisors, Planners and Assistant Media Planners over multiple and simultaneous initiatives
  • Mentor and guide Media Planners and Assistant Media Planners to develop media recommendations
  • Assist Media Supervisor in the presentation of media deliverables to clients
  • Grow and empower Supervisors to manage client day-to-day tasks, while providing strategic counsel
  • Post campaign: lead the account and media teams in the development of campaign post reports
  • Work with Supervisor to manage digital budgets across Disney’s line of businesses, including granular campaign and publisher spends

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in digital media planning
  • A solid understanding of media, with an emphasis on digital media, including emerging technologies, digital publishers and formats
  • Strong team management and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent skills in MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Doubleclick and Prisma experience preferred
