About Us:

We are a small, tight-knit video production team based at Pinewood Studios who pride ourselves in creating innovative, creative and thought-provoking films.

The Work:

We work on a wide range of projects, from online courses, product films, corporate pieces, BTS and documentaries. The type of work we produce does vary and requires a great deal of flexibility and initiative from our team when considering the best approach to each project. As a large majority of our work is in the education sector, it can be extremely content-heavy, so it essential you are someone who is capable and (more importantly) enjoys fully absorbing yourself in the content. Your work should show a good understanding of the importance of the content and how best to translate it into a visual format.

The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced video and motion graphics editor to join our team to help us create engaging and creative films. You will need to enjoy a challenge, be organised in your workflow, have good communication skills, have an eye for detail, creative flair and be keen to learn, develop and become an integral part of a growing company.

You will join our editing team and will be involved in preparing footage for editing, communicating with our clients on their project progress and taking a film from the initial rushes to a fully-polished, client-ready edit.

As our animator, when a project requires it, you will be responsible for creating unique motion graphics that fit our clients brief.

Basic Requirements:

  • You will need to be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
  • You will need to speak and understand the English language to a high standard

[Our work includes post-graduate level online courses, these courses can cover highly complex subject matters and will involve the use of technical language]

Experience Requirements:

You must be able to provide us with examples of previous work, ideally whole pieces such as short films or corporate pieces for us to review. We would like to see a range of previous work, including pieces that include footage you have edited and pieces where you have created and animated motion graphics.

The ideal candidate will have been editing videos for a minimum of 3 years at a professional standard, by working successfully as a freelance editor or as a full-time editor at another video production company.

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in macOS, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and DaVinci
  • Familiarity with Track Code suite and Cinema 4D
  • Familiarity with FrameIO, WeTransfer and Vimeo

[Salary will be dependent on experience]
