Are you an ideas powerhouse, with a talent for spotting new angles on breaking stories? Are you a journalist with a track record of creating agenda-setting, talked-about content? Do you keep up with the trends and have an abundance of ideas for TV content to entertain and enthuse our audience as they begin their day?
If the answer is yes, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our team on Good Morning Britain. As Britain’s most talked about breakfast show, we provide a broad mix of content across news, current affairs, sport and entertainment.
As a Researcher you will come up with ideas for items, probe stories, write briefs and conduct pre interviews with our guests. You will be a key member within our busy Entertainment team, who are primarily tasked to produce eye-catching showbiz news, topical stories, guests and production for Richard Arnold and Ross King.
Working closely with the Deputy Editor Entertainment and Head of Entertainment in the office and remotely, you will be responsible for suggesting stories, innovative ideas, researching and assisting with bookings and production. You should have experience of producing and using iNews.
So, if you thrive in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same and you possess the journalistic skills that will help us achieve our goals, then we’d love to hear from you.
