Halon Entertainment is a premier visualization company with credits on some of Hollywood’s most celebrated films. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated professional to join our team as a production coordinator. In this role, you will supervise the production assistants, maintain production schedules, and handle a variety of other tasks that ensure projects run smoothly. You will report to the production manager. If you are well-organized, skilled multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, then you may be an excellent candidate for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties to support directors, producers, and production managers
  • Manage calendars
  • Provide telephone coverage; take messages and direct calls
  • Maintain production schedules
  • Organize off-site productions
  • Arrange meetings and talent travel
  • Collaborate with production managers to meet the needs of cast and crew
  • Participate in short- and long-term planning aligned with goals set by managers
  • Work with all departments that contribute to the production

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, communications, marketing, management or related field preferred
  • Internships at television stations or production companies are an asset
  • Previous experience as a production coordinator or production assistant
  • Familiarity with all aspects of production to facilitate effective communication
  • Superb organizational skills and time management
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Capable of meeting deadlines and working with daily time constraints
  • Excellent written and spoken verbal communications; professional telephone etiquette
  • Adept at general administrative tasks like budgeting, data entry, and word processing
  • Knowledge of Shotgun, Maya, or Unreal Engine is a huge bonus
