MOUNTVIEW ACADEMY OF THEATRE ARTS
Prospectus is delighted to be working with Mountview to appoint their new Development Director. Since 1945, Mountview has been of the most important and beloved national drama schools. Its unique commitment to diversity has made it vital to the future of the British theatre, TV, and film industries. With Mountview’s 75th anniversary in 2020, a stunning new location in Peckham, and full support from the Board and Leadership for fundraising, there could not be a better time to join.
The Development Director will join after an incredibly successful capital campaign has come to a close and, moving forward, will primarily focus on future planning and the conversion of supporters to ongoing revenue giving. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Director will be a key member of Mountview’s Executive team and will build strong relationships with the experienced fundraising trustees. In post, the Director will develop a compelling case for support and fundraising strategy and lead a team of development professionals.
The best person for the post will have excellent relationship development skills and the ability to network effectively with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally. You will have experience of securing up to six figure gifts and will have a strong understanding of the entire funding landscape for the arts and culture sector. The postholder will be able to quickly realise the huge potential of fundraising at Mountview and will be able to match the energy and enthusiasm for fundraising from Executive Team and the Board.
