My client, a really cool Media company based in trendy Shoreditch, producing TV and Film trailers, has undergone a rapid expansion and needs a switched on Assistant Accountant to join their award winning team. This highly successful company has offices in London, Holland and, soon, the USA. Their clients include a variety of global entertainment businesses such as Universal Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Amazon and Netflix. Working closely with the Operations Director, Producers and Accountant, your role will involve:
- Invoicing clients
- Sales and purchase ledger control
- Credit control
- Reconciliation of credit cards
- Payroll queries
- Other ad hoc duties
You will need:
- Accounting experience, ideally in TV/Film
- Payroll and VAT knowledge and experience of working with Sage Business Cloud and, ideally, Exact Premium
- Strong MS Office skills
- Proactivity and the ability to prioritise, dealing with a busy workload
I’m looking for a hard working individual with a can-do attitude and a flair for numbers who enjoys a varied role and for whom nothing is too much trouble. Needless to say, accuracy and attention to detail are of paramount importance.
