Reuters Video News is looking for a dynamic television journalist to join the Live desk based in London.
The live producer is one of the key functions in the newsroom, organizing and supervising the delivery of live video signals from around the world to Reuters Connect, which is used by broadcast and digital brands around the globe. It is a role that requires the ability to work well under pressure and react fast to unexpected developments.
The successful candidate will have a solid background in video newsgathering and a good understanding of all aspects of live video.
She or he will also be expected to carry out other production tasks in our video newsroom in London so the ability to edit video and produce clearly-written news copy under tight deadlines is also essential.
This is a staff position on a shift pattern that involves some weekend and night work.

The role will report to the Head of the Live desk and take direction from intake, output editors depending on the role the person is rostered on.
