This is a real career opportunity and enormously exciting for a truly brilliant ‘youthful yet mature’ candidate who will work alongside Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE. InterTalent is enormously diverse across the Talent we work with and our sphere of activities.
We are Agent or Manager depending on the client. We work primarily across Broadcast, Digital, IP, Music and Actors – creating income opportunities where ever possible. We aim to build our clients into brands. This will be all encompassing, incredibly exciting and a challenging role with your having the desire to take responsibility. You will be co-ordinating diaries, finding opportunities and new clients, doing what is expected of a talent agent / manager. You will hit the ground running. You will work both in the office and on location when needed for the clients.
In terms of skillset and background, you may have been already worked at a talent agency or management company and have strong industry relationships. You will need to understand the mindset and uniqueness of talent. You will need confidence, the right acumen, people skills, engaging personality, great diligence, common sense, being extremely organised and never looking ruffled. You need to be prepared to be second-guessed at every turn.

Background on Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE
· Started in music selling millions of CDS producing and managing talent such as Charlotte Church, N-Dubz, Jamelia, Big Brovaz, Elton John, Sting, Cher, WSTRN and Jon Bon Jovi – becoming the UK’s most prolific manager of UK urban talent.
· Awarded an OBE by HM The Queen for his contribution to the entertainment industry in 2014.

Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE is one of the best-connected individuals operating in the UK entertainment business and across the global creative industries. After more than 25 years in the entertainment business, he currently chairs the InterTalent Rights Group, the UK’s pre-eminent independent creative talent representation company. Representing and building the careers of stellar talents from the worlds of Broadcast, Music, Film, Digital and Theatre, Publishing and Media has given him unique insights into all aspects of the UK’s £100 billion creative industries.
He has regularly advised government through successive Secretaries of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) on strategies for marketing the UK’s creative industries and maximising their £100 billion annual revenues. Professor Shalit was one of the key figures behind the DCMS initiative of the UK Festival of Creativity and Innovation, to be held in 2020. He is also an Honorary Ambassador for the GREAT Britain CAMPAIGN
A regular lecturer at the University of Southern California, Professor Shalit was awarded an OBE in 2014 for Services to the entertainment industry, an Honorary Professorship by Henley Business School in 2012 in recognition of his contribution to the performing arts and an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration Degree (DBA).
