Day Producer – This Morning
Are you an experienced live television Producer at the top of your game?
If the answer is yes, Britain’s Best Daytime Show offers you the challenge of your career as This Morning is searching for a new member of the team.
You will possess strong creative and editorial judgement and be responsible for generating dazzling ideas and then taking those ideas from planning stage to production.
The ideal candidate will be able to turn current affairs, showbiz, human interest and hard news stories into compelling items. You will always be thinking of exciting new ways to tell a story that will keep our audience hooked and display an excellent editorial judgement, knowing just how to strike that delicate balance between light and shade.
Experience of working in a live studio environment is essential, with extensive gallery and output experience. Use of iNews desirable. You will also be a dab hand at picture editing, script writing and managing budgets effectively, as well as an comprehensive understanding of legal and compliance guidelines and OFCOM regulations.
The role requires someone who knows how to get the best out of our presenters, our ‘family’ of correspondents and our production teams. You will be a line manager, so managerial experience is required for this role.
This role works on a rotating shift pattern and you must be willing to be flexible with the needs of the programme.
