ABOUT YOU

This is an exciting time to join Created. We need a team player with bags of initiative, who’s not afraid to roll their sleeves up and support our small, expanding team. Working in our content team you will create content for Created’s marketing activities and learning materials for our career courses. Our content needs predominantly span audio and video production and post-production, from podcasts, video podcasts and a variety of video formats – including live events and animations – so experience in delivering content across these formats is a must. We’re looking for a self-starter who can apply their own flare to and creative thinking to help us bring Created content to life in an engaging way.

OWNERSHIP DETAIL

  • VIDEOGRAPHY: From initial brief through to final execution, you will handle the full production and post-production process of moving image content for learning and marketing materials and events.
  • Creative process: You will be able to quickly take ideas from concept to pre-production, through to final video, with creative flair and interest in more than just one genre of video. You will always look for ways to create fresh and exciting videos for our courses.
  • Pre-production: You will manage this process and paperwork, liaising with marketing and learning teams, and external talent where necessary.
  • Production: You will be responsible for managing shoots and capturing video content, ranging in format – from screen capture tutorials, animations, studio ‘talking heads’, to live event capture.
  • Post-production: You will edit, colour grade and sound mix for final video output and will be proficient in Adobe Premiere.
  • You will be highly organised in the management of raw content files, back-ups and final output.

  • AUDIO: From initial brief through to final execution, you will handle the full production and post-production process of audio content for learning and marketing materials.
  • Pre-production: You will manage the pre-production process, liaising with marketing and learning teams, and external talent where necessary.
  • Production: You will deliver full audio production ranging from the recording of podcasts, interviews and capturing key audio at our live events
  • Post-production: from editing and basic sound mix you will ensure the final output meets the brief and is to a high quality
  • You will be highly organised in the management of raw content files, back-ups and final output.

  • PHOTOGRAPHY: Production and post-production of imagery for learning and marketing materials.
  • Pre-production: You will handle all stages of pre-production to meet the brief from the marketing and learning teams, including location bookings, paperwork (including usage rights and consent forms) and shot lists.
  • Production: You will manage and deliver basic photography shoots to build Created’s image bank. This is likely to include capturing stills of live events, as well as head shots of the Created team, learners and partners, where applicable – all in line with Created’s brand guidelines.
  • Post-production: You will be responsible for delivering final imagery, including management of the selects process and basic retouching, if necessary, using PhotoShop

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

AUDIO / VISUAL:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in content creation across multiple media formats
  • Familiar with creative processes, taking feedback and being able to work with both open and more instructive briefs (and sometimes no solid brief at all – we need someone who can think on their feet)!
  • Strong design sensibilities
  • Experience in video editing and post-production
  • Experience in audio recording and editing
  • Competent photography skills
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere
  • Knowledge of After Effects is desired, but not essential
