London weighting) We are seeking an experienced Multimedia Editor with a broad background to join our team and help us create highly engaging content for different audiences and drive brand awareness, relevance and supporter engagement. What you will be doingThe Multimedia Editor will work collaboratively with the wider team in the creation of video content for multi-channel activity. Working across a variety of briefs and integrated campaigns, ensuring that brilliant video is delivered on time, to budget, and through excellent multimedia post-production processes. The role will manage stakeholder demands whilst maintaining great working relationships and push boundaries to create content that’s drives impact of our advocacy, brand and fundraising. You’ll work closely with our producers to provide creative and technical support, which benefits the whole organisation. Whilst the role is based at our UK head office, you will work remotely to start with until we are out of lockdown and your main responsibilities will include:Developing and delivering innovative brand content, socially optimised video and other moving digital assets consistent with brand guidelines and strategic goals, with the direction and support of the Multimedia Manager.Package film content (b-roll and interviews) to be stored on our multimedia library and to be shared with the organisation, external agencies and/or media outlets.Maintain organised approach to post-production workflow, ingesting, labelling and organising projects to ensure consistent process.Research and edit video from externally sourced footage.Acting as a guardian of the brand to ensure style guidelines are followed.Working to make a difference for people in crisis in the UK and around the world. What we are looking forWith previous editor experience, you should have:Solid experience editing branded and social media content within an in-house creative team/agency or film, TV company.Excellent knowledge and skill in Adobe Creative Suite (crucially Premier, After Effects and Illustrator).Proven ability as a team player who can be effective whilst working to tight deadlines.The ability to adhere to our production process.The ability to be resourceful, adaptable with a positive attitude.Good communication and interpersonal skills. Meet the teamReporting to the Multimedia Manager, you’ll join our content team and be part of our award-winning communications and advocacy directorate. The team is a small but strong and dynamic. Your teammates will be our talented and friendly in-house team of copy, design, multimedia producers, story gatherers, archiving and production planning. Utilising your collective skills and ideas you’ll respond to briefs and contribute creatively. You’ll also work directly with stakeholders from across the organisation to develop creative solutions to their briefs.
