The below is a template that we used because Glassdoor suggested it. It looks pretty official so we’re going to keep it in there. We need someone on the team that is goingn to crush it. We’re a small company led by a midlevel celebrity. We do work in Real Estate, Angel Investing, NonProfits, TV and Film production, merchandising, and podcasting, cannabis, and live events. There’s a lot going on and we need someone that is willing to help with all of it and also be creative and bring great ideas to the table. There’s a bunch of different tiers to the business so if you start crushing it there’s definitely room for advancement. I absolutely realize that this reads like a fake listing but it’s legit. We’ll do some interview this week in Chicago.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls received and direct them appropriately
  • Record notes and messages for the employer
  • Schedule and arrange meetings and conferences
  • Manage travel arrangements and itineraries on behalf of the employer
  • Act as the first point of contact for the employer as necessary
  • Manage the employer’s calendar and appointment scheduling
  • Read and write correspondence in mail or email form

Qualifications

  • A certificate from a secretarial school preferred
  • Proven experience working as a personal assistant required
  • Proficient in computer technology especially Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and social skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
  • Follows instructions clearly and accurately within a timely fashion
  • Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results
  • Able to sit, walk, stand for long hours at a time
