In-House Photo Studio Producer

We supply to the nation’s top retail chains as well as independent and online retailers. Maintaining and developing great relationships with our customer base requires having great team-members in our workplace.

We are looking for an experienced producer to join our team on a full time basis to establish an efficient photo studio environment, manage, and plan studio functions. This position communicates with sales teams and managers to plan production schedules for a variety of projects including product and lifestyle photography, video, and print materials for contemporary, midcentury, and industrial furniture. This is an opportunity to help establish an efficient in-house studio.

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Establish and communicate production processes and best practices with the marketing team and freelance image retouchers and stylists

-Manage workflow, set priorities, and adjust production strategies as needed

-Oversee management and organization of internal photo studio, including staffing, equipment, process, and schedule

-Handle organizing and filing receipts for staffing, equipment, and other necessities

-Prepare and direct plans for lifestyle images and print materials

-Advise and direct staff and freelance editors/stylists on planning and executing projects

-Ensure merchandise is available for efficient captures on set

-Oversee adherence to the established standard operating procedures and collaborate with internal and external teams with updates to SOPs

-Proactively suggest new recommendations to current workflow

-Communicate objectives and priorities from management and sales team to the relevant team member

-Fill in when needed in other positions such as: art direction, photography, and file management


-Minimum 5 years coordinating experience, ideally in a studio environment or internal creative department within a retail, e-commerce, or B2B environment

-Extensive knowledge and experience with producing a wide variety of content for use in print, digital, video, e-commerce, and social media

-Working knowledge of industry standards in studio environments, contract terms for photographers/stylists/editors

-Ability to navigate competing priorities, allocate resources appropriately, mitigate associated challenges, and excellent time management skills

-Strong familiarity for Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One with the ability to learn new technology, such as internal databases

-Successful project management experience with strong interpersonal skills, organization, and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 /year
