Your daily responsibilities include:

To provide audio and video technical support for all property sound and video elements and front of house support for various entertainment acts within property venues. Responsible for company assets within the department and for ensuring all concert and live entertainment are properly planned and executed. Works both indoor and outdoor events and in a fast paced, high stress, very physical environment.

  • Maintain all property sound and video equipment.
  • schedule and maintain all video messages to be played on various televisions and plasma screens throughout the property.
  • Move, set up, operate and maintain entertainment systems and equipment.
  • Assure that all entertainment equipment is operated in a safe manner.
  • Assure that all equipment is handled in a way that minimizes wear and tear.
  • Take cues from the designated cue caller when in performance mode.
  • Has a general understanding of all the disciplines of stagecraft and works diligently at whatever crew assignments they are given.
  • Positions, installs and connects equipment, such as microphones, amplifiers and lights.
  • Acts as property’s point person for all entertainment productions.
  • Adhere to all guest service, core values and safety requirements.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of five to seven years technical experience.
  • Basic computer knowledge and experience required.
  • Experience with Crestron, Coolsign, Adobe Design Suite, and video editing is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pleasant, outgoing personality.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including shifts and days off.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
