VIDEOGRAPHER, Mechanical Engineering, to document capstone class 2.009 Product Engineering Processes during the fall 2019 semester, conveying the high value of the rich learning ecosystem for the students while documenting the course culture and significant effort put forth by the teaching staff to create a meaningful and memorable experience. The main goal will be to share an inspirational example of high-quality teaching while also conveying the dedication and attention to detail needed to create such an experience. Will be embedded with the core teaching team to capture both the student experience and behind-the-scenes style footage. Will set up shoots including lighting, sound, and other technical details; capture video footage of 2.009 class events and activities; participate in the planning and recording of interviews with students and teaching staff; work with an editor to create a documentary-style video.
REQUIRED: high school diploma; at least three years of videography experience; experience producing video and other multimedia content with an eye for creating visually appealing footage to communicate a story in an engaging manner; demonstrated ability to produce video from concept to finished product; experience using video production equipment, including camera, sound, and lighting; proficiency with ingesting, editing, rendering, exporting, and managing video; and experience with mixing and mastering audio using a contemporary non-linear editing system with associated motion graphics and compression software.
