We are seeking a high-energy Production Coordinator to take on the coordination of a fast-paced, up and coming piece on public health, with a focus on health and wellness in the film industry.
About the project: This project will consist of a film and audio series focusing on health and wellness in the film industry — specifically on the unique medical and mental health issues pertaining to the film/television/media workers, and intriguing new technology to assist in a delivery of quality healthcare to those on film sets.
As the Production Coordinator for this project, you will be responsible for production support, organizing and scheduling events, and the administrative tasks required for a smooth-running production office. Objectives include:
Previous experience in project management, communications, and film production are preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills and a proactive attitude are required. Applicant should possess the ability to work independently in a resource-limited environment, as well as meet numerous deadlines.
This is an excellent opportunity to hone leadership and project management skills. It’s ideal for those interested in non-profit arts administration, and documentary and new media production.
Schedule : Minimum of 25 hr/wk, full time (40 hr/wk) preferred.
Compensation : Unpaid internship. Off-duty professionals welcome. Students can receive college credit.
