Under the direction of the assistant director of marketing and communications, the project coordinator will manage the production of development-related marketing and communications projects, planning, organizing, monitoring and documenting team activities to ensure that projects are completed on time and to specification.
Bachelor’s degree. Two years of professional experience in communications, product/project management, and/or writing and editing publications. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Proven ability to prioritize, manage and organize multiple projects that meet deadlines and budget. Highly detail-oriented. Proven ability to write clear, concise, accurate and compelling content. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google applications and project management software. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years’ experience managing marketing and communications projects, especially in a university or nonprofit setting. Experience writing and/or coordinating communications for donors. Proficiency with InDesign and light production design.Salary Range
$45,000 + depending on qualifications

Retirement Plan Eligibility:
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
