RIDE TV is a cable television network dedicated to the equestrian lifestyle and is seeking a Production Coordinator to support its Production Manager in helping to effectively prioritize, organize, and manage the work flow of the production department.
Work with the Production Manager to define, setup, and manage the schedule for completion of all projects.
Schedule all inter office meetings.
Manage Production Manager and VP of Production’s schedule, travel arrangements and assist with various projects as assigned.
Take and distribute notes from meetings
Find ways to assist and assure that teams hit goals and deadlines
Communicate with the Producers and Production Manager on project logistics; crewing, contracts, travel, location needs, etc.
Maintain production crew lists.
Provide detailed weekly status reports to Production Manager indicating departmental progress.
Facilitate communication between all departments
Work with office coordinator to assure department supply needs are met and coffee/break areas are stocked.
Contract creation and distribution
Set Production location needs
Data Entry into Scheduling Software
Data Entry for Episode/Event Data Sheet
Show Submission prep
Provide support in other areas of the department when needed
Other duties as assigned
Experience in broadcast, television or radio as a Production Assistant or Coordinator
High school diploma; some college preferred.
Prior experience as a production assistant or office assistant in related field.
Strong competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
Consistent, professional dress and manner.
Good time management skills.
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.
