Hosts and anchors live Court TV shows.Key Activities
- Develop segments and rundowns that break down legal nuances of a trial and find ways to make the stories relatable to the audience
Involved in the creation and development of shows.
Participate in other dayparts for talkback interactions and to provide expert legal analysis.
Engage social media followers and find ways to build the Court TV fan base.
Pursue marquee guests for shows, and occasionally travel to conduct interviews for the network.
May be required to travel to host shows from the courthouse.
Education & Experience/Certifications
Law degree required
Experience in practicing criminal law or covering crime stories and trials
5+ years of television journalism experience preferred

- Ability to break down complex information in a way that the general public can understand
- Ability to adapt on the fly to changing circumstances
