I currently reside in San Francisco to pursue my love in film. Born and raised in Indonesia, I had to prove to my Asian parents that engineering is not the future for everyone. I spent countless hours as photo and videographer in numerous events and weddings since junior high school.
All my hard work paid off when my parents finally let me to go to San Francisco to pursue my passion in filmmaking. Ever since I got to San Francisco, I began climbing the ladder to reach my dream. Starting as a 2nd assistant director on an independent film, I was quickly promoted to become the director of a cultural event held in Union Square, San Francisco, supervising a 50 crew members. I then line produced two Indonesian feature films that were shot in San Francisco and New York City.
My love and passion for filmmaking has given me the ability to empower others not only through film but also music and leadership. This has led me to become a community group leader at my local church in the Bay Area. I am currently on a mission to become a pentalingual. I speak Indonesian, Mandarin, and English while currently trying to master French and Korean. On my spare time, I enjoy writing songs and harnessing my skill in playing piano, guitar and ukulele.
