Movies and television are large part of who I am. I grew up in the heyday of Steven Spielberg and kid-friendly eighties TV. Visual storytelling has thus been ingrained in my from a young age. As the overall quality of film story-telling has diminished in the past 15-20 years, the second Golden Age of television has heralded the incredible achievements of shows like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.
I have spent the past seven years working part-time as an editor and videographer while taking classes at the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. Last year, I decided to leave my full-time marine mammal trainer career to pursue film making exclusively. In June of this year I graduated with honors from the Vancouver Film School in British Columbia. I am currently editing a short film, Cue Balls, which I also wrote, directed, and produced.
In addition to narrative projects, I have created documentaries, music videos, and promotional videos.
Links to these projects, be they the originals or trailers for such, can be found on my Vimeo page below.
I have strong opinions about how we as a species can come together to better ourselves and the planet and I believe that a great way to inspire these changes is through storytelling…
