I studied video production and film & screenwriting at Ball State University. I graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. I have worked on many student projects over my 3 years in school. I have experience as a camera operator, editor, and writer. I also have experience with audio recording and post production. I learned a lot through making my own short films throughout my time in school. I acted as my own writer, director, camera operator and editor. I also tried to work on as many projects being made by other students as well. I started my journey into the video production field never having used a camera before and by the end of my 3 years in school I was one of the top students in my production classes whether that be video or audio. My strengths are my ability to adapt and apply myself to learn skills quickly and thoroughly. If I don't know how to do something I will work hard to become as proficient as possible. I pride myself on having well-rounded skills in all aspects of the film making process and would love to build upon those skills and gain more knowledge and experience through hands-on work. I am very willing to relocate and would love to work on a production in any capacity to create a great product. My experience outside of school include working as a production assistant for a small production company, located in Chicago, Illinois, who specialized in corporate videos. My tasks included research, making call-sheets and rundowns, logging footage, filming, audio, and of course the occasional coffee run as well as other tasks that needed to be done. I would love to help wherever I am needed, my main goal is to get more experience working in a field that I love.
